Endodontic and conservative dental treatment
Root canal treatment (endodontics) is a therapeutic procedure with the aim of preserving the tooth from extraction and it implies the removal of diseased or infected pulp (dental nerve).
In our surgery the treatment of root canal is performed by using up-to-date equipment and top quality materials. For a successful treatment it is important that the canal should be treated and filled up to the tip. For the precise determination of the root canal length we use an electronic locator (apex locator) and a digital X-ray device of considerably decreased radiation. This device provides an X-ray in a fast and easy way and also allows computer storage and following the outcome of the therapeutic procedure over time. We apply modern techniques for root canal treatment with the use of the best means of root canal irrigation and disinfection. For definitive root canal filling we use the best materials on the market. A properly cured tooth can keep its function in the mouth for a number of years, even decades, and it is worth more than the best of implants.
